A research via the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Buyer Defense tested eight imported samples of 'Dubai chocolate', 5 from the UAE and three from Turkey. It identified that each one 8 samples were being considered "defective". Five of the solutions sampled contained fats other than cocoa butter, which is not permitted in items labelled "chocolate"
